Aaron Pico’s return to the wrestling mat at RAF 10 was a dominant one, as he handily defeated Lance Palmer.
Pico swiftly executed a takedown on Palmer, quickly adding two points with a roll. He was aggressive from the outset, bringing Palmer down once more to establish a 6-0 lead in the first period.
Demonstrating both speed and strength, Pico relentlessly pursued Palmer, aiming for an early victory; however, the All-American from Ohio State managed to endure until the end of the period.

As the second period resumed, Pico thwarted Palmer’s attempt at a takedown and executed a rapid reversal. Although Palmer succeeded in a reversal of his own for a single point, Pico retaliated moments later, securing an additional two points to conclude the match.
Official Result: Aaron Pico def. Lance Palmer via Technical Fall (12-1).

“It’s been 10 years since I’ve been away,” Pico said after his win. “Thank you to wrestling, everything it’s done for me. I’m just so happy to be at RAF. I want to make it one of the sports and the most popular sport in the world.”
