Aaron Plessinger will return to the U.S. Pro Motocross Championship this weekend at Unadilla. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed that the American has recovered sufficiently from his tailbone injury to compete in the final three rounds of the season.

Plessinger was injured at RedBud, where he crashed in the first corner of the opening 450MX moto. He sustained an injury when his footpeg struck him during the crash, forcing him to miss the following rounds.

Red Bull KTM confirmed his return with a short message on social media: “The Cowboy is back for the final stages of Pro Motocross!”

Earlier this season, Plessinger recorded his best result of the year with a fifth-place finish at High Point. With three rounds remaining, he will be looking to finish the outdoor season on a strong note before shifting his focus to the Monster Energy SMX World Championship playoffs.

The American has also been linked with a possible move to Triumph Racing for the 2027 season.
