NBA commissioner Adam Silver said he has found no evidence suggesting other teams have engaged in salary cap circumvention similar to the Los Angeles Clippers, despite the recently concluded investigation into the franchise.

Silver addressed the topic at the Board of Governors meeting when asked whether the Clippers' punishment signals a broader problem across the league.

"The direct answer is no, no inkling like that," said Silver. "Again, this investigation was, of course, specifically focused on the Clippers.

"I've been around the league for decades. I pick up chatter here and there when other things are happening around the league. I've had lots of conversations with general managers, team presidents, owners as to the kind of conduct that goes on. We know around the lines there's been slippage over the years, but nothing of this nature that I'm aware of."

Silver's comments came during the same session in which he defended the league's decision to strip the Clippers of five first-round draft picks for circumventing cap rules tied to Kawhi Leonard. He emphasized that the probe was narrowly focused on the Clippers rather than the league at large.

While acknowledging minor rule bending happens across the NBA over time, Silver drew a clear distinction between routine gray-area conduct and the scale of the Clippers' violations.
