‘Suga’ Sean halted Zahabi in the second stanza with strikes and hit a salute with GSP operating as one of Zahabi’s cornermen during the June 14th contest. On his X account @GeorgesStPierre while tweeting out some behind-the-scenes photos taken at the unique UFC event, St. Pierre said,

“Unfortunately, we came up short last night. At this level, things happen incredibly fast. When you zig when you should zag, the margin for error is very small. Via his X account @Aiemannzahabi, the Canadian bantamweight contender responded in a quote tweet to the former two-division UFC champ as Zahabi stated,

“My heart is at peace. For what is meant for me will never miss me, and whatever misses me was never meant for me. This was the theme of this camp. Today I walk that talk.”
