Bebe Rexha has dismissed speculation that she is romantically involved with New York Knicks guard Jordan Clarkson, saying the two are simply friends.

TMZ Sports asked the singer about their relationship after Rexha and Clarkson were spotted spending time together in New York City last month.

Asked whether there were any “sparks” between them, Rexha shook her head and gave a straightforward answer: “friends.”

The pair had fueled dating speculation after appearing together during an art session with artist Leopoldo Gout.

Photos from the outing showed Clarkson with his arm around Rexha.

Later that same evening, they attended a Vogue event at Rockefeller Center together, adding to speculation that their relationship could be more than friendship.

However, Rexha, who was celebrating her birthday Friday, has now made her relationship with the NBA champion clear.

According to the singer, there is no romance between them, and Clarkson remains just a friend.
