UFC President Dana White, who is a huge Boston Celtics fan, recently shared his take on Jaylen Brown’s trade to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 29-year-old, on the 6th of July, 2026, was traded to the 76ers in exchange for veteran Paul George and two first-round picks and two second-round picks.

Brown spent 10 seasons with the Celtics, starting in 2016, winning the NBA Championship in 2024, and also being named the NBA Finals MVP that same year.

Almost two months after his trade, Dana White was asked about the same on the Rich Eisen Show.

It’s interesting. I think my take on it now is that everybody seems happy. Nobody is mad…He seems happy with the trade, both teams seem happy with the trade.

White then went on to add that Philadelphia is his favorite place to go when the Celtics play:

What’s funny is – my favorite place to go to a game when the Celtics play is Philly. The fans there are hilarious…I just love that type of atmosphere. I love Philly and I love doing games there.

Michael Irvin Thanks Dana White For Getting him Through Early COVID Days

NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin recounted the time he called up Dana White and thanked him for bringing back fights during COVID-19.

UFC became the first sporting organization to host an event during the pandemic back in 2020, and Irvin once again thanked White for that on the Rich Eisen Show. Here is what he had to say:

I love Dana…You remember when we were in COVID, and he brought back fights, and I remember calling him – ‘Hey man, thank you. We needed something so bad, man. We needed it.’ He’s a brilliant man, he’s a pioneer.
