Brady Hawk expects Pelle Larsson to take on a bigger role for the Miami Heat next season and believes his game could fit particularly well alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Hawk sees Larsson becoming a more prominent part of Miami’s offense, with increased opportunities to handle the ball. He compared the potential role to the one Jaime Jaquez Jr. had for the Heat last season.

“People are going to know the name Pelle Larsson pretty soon. That is going to be a name that’s popping up left and right. Just thinking of what his role will be this season, I think it’s going to be somewhat of what Jamie Jaquez was last year for the Heat.

“He’s going to have the ball in his hands a lot. Pelle Larsson is known for being a really good cutter, really good off ball mover. I think one of the best Duos for Miami will be Giannis Antetokounmpo and Pelle Larsson.

“Anytime Giannis is demanding attention that guy is going to be cutting to the basket and see so many opportunities… I don’t know if I’ve seen role players like himself get to the line as much as he does… It gives me Jimmy Butler vibes.”
