UFC superstar Conor McGregor believes the upcoming MMA headliner between Mike Perry and Dillon Danis won’t last long.

Conor McGregor’s longtime teammate Dillon Danis and Bare Knuckle FC colleague Mike Perry will clash at Duel Arena 1 on Saturday in Florida. Danis and Perry will compete in a Mixed Martial Arts fight featuring several types of bouts on the undercard.

Danis and Perry will return to MMA after finding success in other venues. Perry is arguably the face of bare-knuckle fighting under the BKFC banner, and Danis competed in boxing and grappling matches in recent years.

McGregor, who continues to recover from the right knee injury he suffered at UFC 329, is keeping a keen eye on Danis and Perry’s upcoming showdown. Despite his complicated history with both fighters, McGregor believes one side will put on a dominant performance.

Conor McGregor predicts a two-minute submission at Mike Perry vs. Dillon Danis

In a recent joint interview with Perry on The Ariel Helwani Show, Danis shared McGregor’s fight prediction.

“His prediction is an easy submission in under two minutes,” Danis said of McGregor.

“He thinks Mike is too forward in his aggression and of course I can’t give away too much of our game plan. But obviously he is going through what he is going through so I didn’t want to bring my thing into it because that was a hard thing for him and would be for anyone in the sport.

“But yeah he thinks it will be a submission in under two minutes. Mike’s biggest trait is his biggest weakness.” (h/t Bloody Elbow)

Perry returned to the MMA win column by finishing McGregor’s two-time rival, Nate Diaz, at Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano earlier this year. Meanwhile, Danis won Misfits’ inaugural MMA title by defeating Warren Spencer last year.
