While discussing Matchroom’s relationship with No Limit Boxing, Hearn mentioned the number of heavyweights available in Australia before questioning their willingness to step in the ring.

“They’ve got a load of heavyweight talent that doesn’t seem to want to fight Teremoana,” Hearn told Raw Sports Media. “Hopefully we can make more fights. We haven’t really been able to do that yet.”

That leaves Matchroom searching for the opposition Teremoana needs. He requires a step up in class, but finding fighters willing to face him may become increasingly difficult if he continues ending fights quickly.

His aggressive approach doesn’t give opponents much time to settle. Teremoana comes forward looking to overwhelm rivals with size, pressure and punching power, which has resulted in all 11 of his professional victories coming by knockout.

Savage is supposed to push him further. The 300-pound American has gone 10 rounds before, and Hearn described him as the biggest test of Teremoana’s career so far.

A convincing victory on Wednesday would increase the pressure to find stronger opposition.

Teremoana doesn’t need more heavyweights brought in simply to extend his knockout streak. If Australia’s better heavyweights want no part of him, Matchroom will have to find his next test elsewhere.
