Enzo Temmerman will remain part of the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Team for another weekend. The American has confirmed that, following his appearance at the Thunder Valley National, he has once again been given the opportunity to ride for the factory team at the High Point National.

Temmerman began his AMA Pro Motocross season at the opening round in Hangtown, where he made a strong impression aboard his Team Green Kawasaki KX250 by finishing 13th overall. He was then given the opportunity to line up for Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki at Thunder Valley.

In his first race for Mitch Payton’s team—and only his second event of the season—the young American immediately showed why he earned the opportunity. After two impressive charge-through-the-pack rides, he finished 16th overall with moto scores of 10-21. In the first moto, he worked his way forward by an incredible eighteen positions, while in the second moto he gained twelve spots.

Following the race, Temmerman confirmed that he will also line up for the fourth round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship at High Point.

“Today was really good. It was my first race with the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Team, so that was an awesome experience. Qualifying was decent; I qualified nineteenth. In the first moto, I had a strong charge through the field and came from outside the top twenty all the way up to tenth. I also put in some good lap times, which was a big positive. The second moto was a little tougher for me, but overall it was a good day. Mitch told me that I’ll be back with the team next weekend, so I’m really looking forward to lining up again.”

With his strong performance at Thunder Valley, Temmerman has certainly made an impression on Payton’s team. This weekend, at the High Point National, he will once again have the opportunity to prove himself against the established contenders in the 250 class.
