Everton are still looking to add some extra firepower to David Moyes' side before the end of the month. They enter the new season with Beto and Thierno Barry to call on, but neither truly convinced in the previous campaign.

If the Toffees are to qualify for European football this time around, then that needs to change. The Friedkin Group have already matched their manager's ambition at times this summer, welcoming Tyrique George, Hayden Hackney and Christian Norgaard, but are still missing some key additions.

The Premier League gets underway in less than a week and, before then, Everton could welcome the attacking reinforcement they're desperate for in the form of Richarlison.

Thierno Barry	Powerful young No.9 with excellent physical attributes and the ability to stretch defences with his movement. Everton's £27m signing from Villarreal remains an important long-term option.
Beto	Strong, direct centre-forward who provides a physical focal point and aerial threat. He remains one of Everton's established striker options heading into 2026/27.

It wasn't so long ago that the Brazilian was breaking hearts on Merseyside, sealing a £60m move to Tottenham Hotspur. Four years later, he could now be making a heroic return.

It would be quite the moment for both parties. Richarlison single-handedly kept Everton afloat at times and could be returning to drag them into Europe in a brand new stadium to match.

Whilst some fans were quick to jeer the forward on several of his away days, the admiration never truly went away. This is a cult hero who's potentially on his way back.

As reported by TeamTalk, Everton are now in contact to re-sign Richarlison from Tottenham this summer. Roberto De Zerbi has told the South American that he's free to look for a move away and that comes at the perfect time.

Previous reports claimed that the forward would jump at the chance to rejoin Everton. Now, he has the chance to do exactly that. At a time when the Toffees need a forward, everything is aligning.

This isn't a version of Richarlison that's past his best, either. The forward scored 12 goals and assisted another five in all competitions last season. He is still someone who is capable of carrying Everton's attack. The big difference these days is that he'd have the likes of Iliman Ndiaye to help carry that load.

As deadline day fast approaches, it looks as though Richarlison could be heading back to the place he holds so fondly.
