A Former UFC light heavyweight champion, whom Alex Pereira knocked out, has big plans

Jamahal Hill believes becoming a two-division UFC champion is better than becoming a two-time champion, and now wants to attain two-division glory by moving up to 265 pounds. On the What You Think Podcast, he said:

“I’m moving up to heavyweight. That’s the announcement. Breaking news… I’m going to heavyweight. It’s been something that I’ve been working on now for the last few months. Putting in the necessary weight, muscle, and everything like that to move up. Wouldn’t it be better if I came back and won the heavyweight title? I think double champ is better than two-time champion. I like the way it sounds.”

“Sweet Dreams” is currently on a three-fight losing skid and has been knocked out twice in his last three fights. Despite the rough, the 35-year-old is looking to move up in weight and already has a name in mind.

During the same sitdown, he added he wants to face No. 4 heavyweight contender Josh Hokit, who knocked out Derrick Lewis this weekend at the White House.

“Josh Hokit. That’s exactly the fight that I want.”
