Photo: AS Monaco Basket/YouTubeFormer Philadelphia 76ers wing Furkan Korkmaz will continue his career in Türkiye after agreeing to a contract with Beşiktaş J.K. Basketball.
The move comes after Korkmaz spent last season with Tofaş S.K., where he averaged 9.0 points in nearly 20 minutes per game.
He also played an important role for the Turkish national team during its silver-medal run at EuroBasket 2025.
Beşiktaş could be competing in either the EuroLeague or EuroCup next season, with the club’s European status still to be determined.
Korkmaz previously spent seven seasons in the NBA, appearing in 328 regular-season games between 2017 and 2024 before returning to play in his home country.
