PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayHello, I've come across a Astrox 99 pro 2nd gen in 3U G4. I typically like my grips smaller than that, and was wondering if anyone here has done the grip reduction method of sanding down the wooden handle.
I'm concerned for it's effectiveness, structural impact on the racket, and tips and tricks for doing it yourself.
If you have, let me know! Thank you for your time reading this.
If you reduce the grip, it still might be different to a proper G5.
Do yourself a favour and get a racquet with the size that you want. It’s not worth the trouble to try and adapt the racquet to you.
I have already got the racket, I've seen a few people do it and would still like to give it a try!
The G4 grip is alright, but I have smaller hands and doesn't help with how demanding the racket is already.
Did you get it for free?![]()
I think another disadvantage is if you try to trade the racquet, it’s already been altered. Some people like me would absolutely refuse to touch it.
On the other hand, others might be okay with it.
