Italian center Luigi Suigo has officially withdrawn his name from consideration for the 2026 NBA Draft and will instead continue his development at the collegiate level with Villanova University next season.

The 19-year-old big man had entered the draft as an Early Entry Candidate but ultimately decided that another year of growth and exposure could better position him for a future NBA opportunity.

By joining Villanova, Suigo will have the chance to showcase his skills in one of college basketball’s most competitive environments.

Standing 7-foot-3, Suigo spent last season playing for KK Mega Bemax in Serbia.

Across 26 appearances, he averaged 7.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.0 block in 18.4 minutes per game while continuing to develop as a modern center prospect.
