The Orlando Magic have agreed to a deal with free agent guard Malaki Branham. The deal will be an Exhibit 10 contract, per Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed deal that covers training camp and the preseason. The deal becomes a standard non-guaranteed contract if the player makes the opening night roster. Given the Magic are already $10 million over the first apron, it's unlikely Branham will make the regular season roster. It's likely this deal is setting up for Branham to play for the Osceola Magic of the G League this season.

Branham appeared in 28 games for the Washington Wizards last season. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 4.6 points in 9.8 minutes per game. The Wizards traded Branham to the Charlotte Hornets ahead of the trade deadline, and he was subsequently waived by the Hornets.
