Mark Mitchell committed to Kentucky after getting cleared to play a fifth season of college basketball last week.

Mitchell averaged 18.3 points for Missouri last season.

Mitchell was not selected in the NBA Draft and signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Nuggets this summer.

SEC commissioner Greg Sankey opposed Mitchell's return due to "significant roster instability."
