Perreira’s numbers include a 38-second spinning backfist knockout of Gilbert Nakatani earlier this year, along with a promotional debut that ended in a TKO loss later overturned to a no contest after a knee injury required ACL surgery. Cesar holds an overall MMA record of 14-2 with five finishes, and he most recently authored a unanimous decision over Lito Adiwang after stepping in on short notice as a replacement for Perreira himself.

That short-notice performance instantly elevated Cesar’s number in the eyes of the division, transforming him from a newcomer into a legitimate contender in a single night against one of the promotion’s most respected veterans.
