Mitch Evans' career burned brightly but for a brief period: he was an FIM Motocross World Championship rider for just five years. There was plenty that he encountered as a Honda HRC and Kawasaki Racing Team rider, as well as a two-time podium finish in the MX2 division.

Ultimately, his career was cut short by a problematic (and initially misdiagnosed) wrist injury that he sustained in his maiden MXGP campaign. Evans rode 'red' for four of his five years, before a move to Kawasaki's factory squad in 2023.
