SCOOPER96 came out on top at Unadilla with 284 points, earning this week’s MXA Fantasy win and the prize courtesy of L.A. Sleeve. It was a difficult weekend to predict, especially with both championship battles taking major turns. In the 250 class, Cole Davies went 2-1 to take the overall victory, while Levi Kitchen won the opening moto before being pushed off the track at the start of moto two. Kitchen charged from deep in the field to sixth, salvaging enough points to leave Unadilla with a one-point championship lead over Davies. The 450 class brought even more drama. Hunter Lawrence won the first moto, but a hard crash in moto two left his bike too damaged to continue. Jett Lawrence capitalized with 2-1 scores to take the overall ahead of Jorge Prado and Haiden Deegan, while Hunter’s 1-39 finishes dropped him to eighth overall. The result also handed the championship lead back to Jett, who now leads Hunter 402 to 392 heading into Budds Creek.

450 CLASS PREDICTIONS

For Unadilla, the 450 class started out strong with Jett Lawrence selected to take the overall win, and that pick landed exactly where expected. Jett went 2-1 on the day to secure the overall and take control of the championship points lead. Haiden Deegan was another exact pick, finishing third overall just as he was selected, while R.J. Hampshire also matched the fifth-place prediction.

The biggest miss came with Hunter Lawrence, who was picked second overall. Hunter won the opening moto and looked capable of delivering that result, but a hard crash in moto two left his bike too damaged to continue. His 1-39 scores dropped him to eighth overall. Jorge Prado was selected fourth but exceeded expectations with second overall, while Garrett Marchbanks was picked sixth and finished fourth. Dylan Ferrandis was the only rider in the actual top six who was not selected. Overall, five of the six picks finished inside the top six, with three exact-position bonuses from Jett Lawrence, Haiden Deegan and R.J. Hampshire.

250 CLASS PREDICTIONS

For Unadilla, the 250 picks were extremely strong at the front of the field. Cole Davies was selected to win and delivered with 2-1 moto scores for the overall victory. Levi Kitchen was picked second and finished exactly there after winning the opening moto and charging back to sixth in moto two. Chance Hymas was another perfect prediction, finishing third overall with 4-2 scores.

Ryder DiFrancesco also landed exactly where he was picked in fifth, giving the user four exact-position bonuses in the 250 class. Carson Mumford was selected sixth but finished even better in fourth overall, still bringing in strong points. The only miss was Julien Beaumer, who was picked fourth but finished tenth overall. Altogether, five of the six selected riders finished inside the actual top six, with Davies, Kitchen, Hymas and DiFrancesco all matching their exact predicted positions.
