The fifteenth episode of Behind the Gate focuses on the MXGP of Flanders in Lommel. Titled ‘Perfection’, the episode looks back at an impressive Grand Prix weekend in which Jeffrey Herlings and Camden McLellan stole the show.

On the brutal sand circuit of Lommel, Herlings and McLellan were perfect. Both riders dominated their races and provided plenty of excitement for a record crowd.

As usual, however, Behind the Gate goes beyond what happens on the track. The creators take viewers behind the scenes at Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing and visit the factory team’s workshop. Among others, Kay de Wolf and Liam Everts discuss the challenges they have faced this season.

Scott Smulders also plays a prominent role in the episode. The Dutchman talks about his career and the journey that eventually brought him to SixtySeven Racing Husqvarna. There is also plenty of humour, particularly when his team manager gives his opinion on Smulders’ physical condition.

With footage from Lommel and stories from both a factory team and a privateer team, the new episode once again offers an interesting insight into the world behind the MXGP Championship.
