Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles left Wednesday's 77-66 win at the Golden State Valkyries with a noticeable limp after tweaking her left ankle in the fourth quarter. Miles did not return to the game after stepping on teammate Napheesa Collier's foot.

Miles stayed on the floor for several minutes before hobbling to the bench under her own power. Miles briefly received treatment in the tunnel before returning to the bench, but coach Cheryl Reeve had no update on her status after the game.

"Obviously we are hoping she's OK," said Reeve.

The injury overshadowed another standout performance from the No. 2 overall pick, who finished with 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including three 3-pointers, along with seven assists, five rebounds, two blocks and two steals.

Miles passed A'ja Wilson and Paige Bueckers for third-most points by a rookie in WNBA history with 696. Her 19.9 points per game currently ranks third all-time among rookies, trailing only Seimone Augustus and Wilson. Miles has a PER of 23.0.

Teammate Kayla McBride praised Miles' composure on the court.

"I'm not surprised anymore," said McBride. "She is so present, she is so talented and poised. She's just a hooper. She loves the moment, she relishes the moments. I'm excited to see what she does next."

Reeve echoed those sentiments, highlighting Miles' maturity under pressure.

"She has a maturity about her," said Reeve. "That's a rookie. It's high stakes, and you know she is going to be targeted and part of the other team's game plan. She has a natural maturity for the position that she plays, recognizing what was being given to her, and she was opportunistic."
