Brand-new, priced at € 9.900 and going head-to-head with 11 of the most exciting trail bikes of the year: we didn’t just put the new Yeti MT XO through its paces on our home trails, but also threw it straight into our big trail bike group test against some seriously strong competition

With the launch of the brand-new Yeti MT XO, we can sit back and relax. Why? Because we’ve already had the turquoise machine from Colorado on test and given it a proper thrashing. And not just for a quick lap on the trails. We put it straight through the ultimate test in our big trail bike group test, where it faced 11 of the most exciting bikes of the year!

On paper, the new MT looks promising: 160 mm of travel up front, 140 mm at the rear, 29″ wheels and Yeti’s new Sixfinity suspension platform. With this setup, Yeti are aiming for the perfect balance between efficient climbing and high composure through rock gardens.

But is this high-end recipe enough to leave the strong competition trailing in its wake? Has the turquoise snow monster picked the perfect line, and can it come out on top against 11 other trail bikes?
