India’s rising cricket star Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues to make waves on the field, but this time the spotlight has shifted to another member of the family. The 15-year-old batting prodigy reacted proudly after his younger brother, Aashirwad Suryavanshi, produced a remarkable century in a local practice match in Bihar.

Vaibhav, who is currently part of the India-A squad competing in the Tri-Nation A Series in Sri Lanka, shared his brother’s achievement on social media. The gesture quickly caught the attention of cricket fans, with many praising the emerging cricketing talent within the Suryavanshi family.

Aashirwad, aged just 10, starred for Cricket Academy Tajpur in a local practice game held in Samastipur. The youngster played an impressive innings of 103 runs from 87 deliveries, showcasing an aggressive approach at the crease. His knock included 20 boundaries and one six, helping Cricket Academy Tajpur post a commanding total of 234/4 in 29.5 overs. A remarkable period for the Suryavanshi family

Aashirwad’s century comes during a memorable phase for the Suryavanshi family, with Vaibhav enjoying a meteoric rise in Indian cricket. The left-handed opener had a sensational IPL 2026 campaign, finishing as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 776 runs.

His outstanding season earned him multiple accolades, including the Orange Cap, Most Valuable Player, Emerging Player of the Year and Super Striker awards. Vaibhav also rewrote the record books by smashing 76 sixes during the season, surpassing a long-standing milestone previously held by Chris Gayle.

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) star’s performances have since earned him a maiden call-up to India’s T20I squad for the upcoming tours of Ireland and England. He has also been selected in India’s Asian Games squad and could soon become the youngest cricketer to represent India at the senior international level.

Now, with Aashirwad making headlines through his own century-scoring exploits, cricket fans have begun taking notice of another promising talent from the family. While there is still a long journey ahead for the youngster, his latest knock has certainly added another exciting chapter to the growing Suryavanshi cricket story.
