Worapon Lukjaoporongtom

ONE Championship

Three wins in a single calendar year have quietly put one bantamweight Muay Thai contender on the doorstep of a six-figure contract.

Worapon Lukjaoporongtom meets Lenny Blasi in a bantamweight Muay Thai main event when The Inner Circle 28 streams live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, August 28.

Worapon has opened 2026 with three consecutive victories, starting with a head kick knockout of Myanmar Lethwei Champion Soe Lin Oo, then a first-round stoppage of Arthur Brossier, and most recently a unanimous decision over Tom Casse.

The 23-year-old southpaw’s numbers now stand out even in a crowded bantamweight division, with three finishes or clear decisions inside a single year putting him ahead of the pace set by most of his peers.

Worapon’s record faces its toughest test yet

Worapon’s three-fight run in 2026 has come against a mix of styles, and Blasi represents a different puzzle entirely with his high-volume, aggressive approach that has been a fixture on the weekly platform since his debut. A win here would make it four victories in a calendar year for Worapon, a number that would be difficult for the promotion to ignore when contract talks begin, and it would arrive against an opponent looking to author the biggest number of his own career in the process.

Elsewhere on the card, Rambong Sor Therapat’s three-fight winning streak across 15 platform appearances runs into Chartpayak Saksatoon, who has rebuilt to three wins in his last four outings since a rare loss to Ramadan Ondash. Both numbers tell a story of momentum heading into Bangkok.

Two additional bouts round out the numbers on the card, with Isannuea Sor Sasiwat facing Ubaid Hussain and Basta Abdelmouneme meeting Fakhriddin Khasanov in flyweight Muay Thai action, alongside a strawweight kickboxing pairing between Jung Hyun Woo and Keisuke Monguchi. Five bouts, five sets of stakes, and one Bangkok night to settle them all.
