Orgo-Life the new way to the future

There is not a better, more dominant pitcher in Major League Baseball right now than Milwaukee Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski.

He is a must-see attraction every time out, and he delivered another emphatic statement on that on Friday night in a 6-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies

He not only pitched a complete-game shutout, but it was arguably the most dominant performance of the 2026 season.

It might also be the most dominant performance you see from any pitcher all season.

At least until he finds a way to top it later in the year (and he might).

Jacob Misiorowski looks unhittable against Phillies

The stat line on Friday night is not only impressive, but it is bordering on staggering.

Throwing a complete game shutout in 2026 is rare enough for a starting pitcher. But that's only the start of the dominance.

He faced the minimum of only 27 batters. He allowed just one hit, a lead-off single to Kyle Schwarber in the top of the fourth inning, and then erased him on a double play.

He walked none.

He struck out 15 batters, including eight of the first nine batters he faced.

He did all of that and still finished the game by throwing only 95 pitches.

It was also another night where he absolutely lit up the radar gun. He threw 36 pitches of 101 mph or higher and routinely touched 104 and 105 on the gun. He was still throwing 103 in the ninth inning, as he did on his final pitch of the night when he struck out Justin Crawford.

Whenever a pitcher throws a complete game with under 100 pitches, it is referred to in the baseball world as a "Maddux," a reference to former Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves starter Greg Maddux, who would routinely throw such games.

Misiorowski's 15 strikeouts on Friday are the most ever recorded in a Maddux in the pitch-count era.

That is what makes a start like this so incredible.

He not only dominated with power and velocity, but he was also incredibly efficient.

It was like watching a combination of Randy Johnson and Maddux all in one package. How do you hit that? If you are the Phillies on Friday night, you do not.

It lowers his ERA to 1.34 for the season and has him right at the top of the National League Cy Young race. It might be his at this point.
