South African Camden Mc Lellan won the first race in the MX2 class in China. Mc Lellan managed to take the lead three laps before the end of the race and won by 1.5 seconds over Simon Langenfelder. Liam Everts finished third, championship leader Guillem Farres was fourth, and Sacha Coenen finished fifth.
