Charles Oliveira is hoping to fight one more time in 2026, but he says nothing has been offered yet.

Many were expecting Oliveira to fight Arman Tsarukyan in a rematch with potential title implications. Instead, Tsarukyan has been booked to fight Mauricio Ruffy in the UFC 331 co-main event. Some suspected that “do Bronxs” won’t be fighting on Sept. 19 due to the unexpected passing of his training partner and close friend Allan Nascimento.

Speaking to Bia Galev, Oliveira said the status of his next fight is up in the air. The former UFC lightweight titleholder insists he hasn’t received any offers yet (via Home of Fight).

“I don’t have any fight booked,” Oliveira said. “No opponent has been offered to me. People keep throwing names out there but I don’t have anything. The reality is that I want to fight again before the end of the year. I want to have one more fight.”

Oliveira captured the BMF Championship when he defeated Max Holloway via unanimous decision back in March. The fight was uneventful and didn’t have the fireworks one would expect from a BMF title fight, but Oliveira got the job done by a wide margin. Now, he awaits to see what the UFC brass has planned for him.

While “do Bronxs” isn’t at the very top of the contender list at 155 pounds given his losses against Ilia Topuria and Tsarukyan, Oliveira doesn’t have a submission win over reigning lightweight champion Justin Gaethje. Whether or not he can jump the line for a rematch with “The Highlight” remains to be seen. Gaethje has said he wants some revenge against Oliveira and Holloway, who knocked him out with one second left in their UFC 300 bout.
