Photo: Peter BabaDeMar DeRozan is joining the Denver Nuggets after agreeing to a one-year contract worth $3.9 million.
The veteran forward became available after his situation with the Sacramento Kings was resolved. DeRozan had $10 million guaranteed on his $26.74 million salary with Sacramento.
The 36-year-old remained productive last season, appearing in 77 games for the Kings. He averaged 18.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.
Represented by Aaron Goodwin, DeRozan will now continue his career in Denver on a veteran deal as the Nuggets add another experienced scorer to their roster.
DeRozan will turn 37 before the upcoming season, making 2026-27 his age-37 campaign.
