Dwight Howard is heading back to Taiwan, where he will headline a charity exhibition game next month, via Dario Skerletic of Sportando.

The New Taipei Kings announced that the eight-time NBA All-Star will lead a TAT All-Star team against a Kings All-Star squad in the “Kings Heart Classic.”

The exhibition is scheduled for September 13 at Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei and is being organized by the Kings alongside The Asian Tournament (TAT).

Howard officially retired from professional basketball in March, bringing an end to a career that included three NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards.

Taiwan is already familiar territory for the former NBA center. Howard previously played there during two separate stints, first representing the Taoyuan Leopards before later joining the Taiwan Mustangs.

His upcoming appearance will bring him back to the country as the biggest name participating in the charity event.
