UFC Heavyweight Blasts Ian Machado Garry’s Women-Run-the-World Take

A former UFC star has called out Ian Machado Garry for being fake. His comments have come in the wake of Garry’s recent comments about women running the world, which created a huge buzz in the MMA community.

In an interview with High Performance, Garry claimed that the world would be a better place if it ‘was run by women.’ He was called out by a boatload of fans and fighters alike for his take.

And now, former UFC welterweight (and middleweight) Darren Till has weighed in on the same. In an interview with Oscar Willis of The Mac Life, Till ripped into ‘fake guy’ Garry. He said:

I’m not a hateful guy. I don’t hate Ian Garry. But I just think every time he speaks, he just absolutely tarnishes his brand, his image, by what he’s talking about. I’m a guy for the power of the women. I have four girls and a missus. But it’s just the things he says; it’s always like he’s trying to buy love. He’s obviously a great fighter. The one thing is – people can see and know a fake guy, and he has fake written all over him.

Till aside, Garry was also put on blast by former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub. Alarmed by the Irishman’s comments, the 43-year-old stated that ‘he should only be allowed to talk about fighting.’

Ian Machado Garry Has Hardly A Week Left For His Most Important Fight Yet

There is hardly a week left for Ian Machado Garry’s most important fight yet. Fighting for the welterweight championship, the 28-year-old will take on Islam Makhachev at UFC 330 on the 15th of August.

Riding a two-fight winning streak, with wins over Carlos Prates and Belal Muhammad, Garry will look to keep the juggernaut rolling against the indomitable Makhachev.

Makhachev, on the other hand, undefeated since 2015, won the welterweight title in his debut when he took on Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322, eventually beating the Australian via unanimous decision.
