Garrison Mathews confirmed that he has signed with Olimpia Milan on Friday.

"I'm excited about the opportunity," he said in an interview with local media. "I didn't think I'd ever play [overseas], but I got a couple calls with some great offers that were too hard to pass up."

Mathews played seven seasons in the NBA with the Wizards, Rockets, Hawks, and Pacers.

The shooting guard averaged 5.2 points in 15 games for the Pacers last year.
