UFC 330 features many intriguing matchups to potentially cash in on ahead of fight night on Saturday in Philadelphia.

UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev will defend his belt against surging contender Ian Machado Garry in the UFC 330 main event this Saturday in Philadelphia. After becoming the UFC’s latest two-division champ, Makhachev will look to extend his winning streak and retain his spot atop the pound-for-pound rankings.

The UFC 330 co-main event features a strawweight title clash between reigning champion Mackenzie Dern and rising star Gillian Robertson. Dern won the then-vacant strawweight title at UFC 321 by defeating Virna Jandiroba.

The card also includes many up-and-coming stars on the prelims, including middleweight Donte Johnson and lightweight Kaue Fernandes. There are plenty of opportunities for fight fans to make some money by placing some wagers on the action at UFC 330.

Donte Johnson by KO/TKO (+125)

One of the brightest stars of the 2025 season of Dana White’s Contender Series was middleweight Donte Johnson. Unbeaten through eight professional fights, Johnson has made a positive first impression in the UFC, earning wins over Cody Brundage and Sedriques Dumas.

Johnson and middleweight Eric McConico will help kick off the action on the UFC 330 undercard. All four of McConico’s losses, including his most recent defeat to Baisangur Susurkaev at UFC 322, ended by KO/TKO.

Ahead of UFC 330, Johnson has trained extensively with UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland in Las Vegas, rocking the titleholder in sparring in recently leaked footage. Johnson will undoubtedly hold a speed advantage over McConico when they meet in the Octagon, setting the stage for a potential highlight-reel finish.

Expect Johnson to continue his unbeaten run in the UFC with a statement knockout at UFC 330.

Vicente Luque ML (-101)

UFC vet Vicente Luque’s return to the middleweight division comes after a first-round finish against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 327. His full-time move to middleweight came after a string of recent losses and debilitating weight cuts.

Luque’s second-straight middleweight appearance comes against former The Ultimate Fighter finalist Tresean Gore at UFC 330. It’s an intriguing stylistic matchup between Luque and Gore, and a stark contrast in experience levels (Luque’s 37 career fights to Gore’s 10 bouts).

Gore enters UFC 330 fresh off an impressive win over Azamat Bekoev to snap a two-fight losing skid. Despite some of Gore’s recent struggles, he enters UFC 330 as a slight favorite against Luque.

While Gore’s grappling has improved, Luque has more ways to win when they meet inside the cage on Saturday night. Luque will need to survive Gore’s early storm and one-punch knockout power, and if he can, it could be one-way traffic for the experienced Brazilian.

With the moneyline as it stands, placing a low-risk bet on the experienced Luque to hand Gore another loss is a smart investment.

Joel Alvarez vs. Chidi Njokuani UNDER 1.5 RDs (+115)

Don’t expect UFC welterweights Joel Alvarez and Chidi Njokuani to waste much time in the Octagon at UFC 330.

Alvarez and Njokuani are both looking to make statements at UFC 330 in what should be a striker’s delight in the cage. Both fighters often explode out of the gate, and their impressive stand-up skill sets promise a fire fight for as long as the fight lasts.

Alvarez’s recent work with UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev could mean some early grappling action against Njokuani. Winner of four of his last five fights, Alvarez enters UFC 330 against the aging Njokuani with some momentum.

If Njokuani is victorious on Saturday, it’ll have to come from another highlight-reel knockout, which he’s demonstrated the ability to do throughout his promotional tenure. In either case, the chance of a quick finish remains extremely high in this fascinating welterweight clash.
