Honda HRC Progressive has shared an official update on Jett Lawrence after a perplexing performance in 450MX moto one at the final round of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Jett (eleventh) finished behind Hunter (eighth) in moto one, despite a track advantage on lap one.

"Jett hyperextended his right ankle early in the moto and aggravated his injury. Doc G is taping it and working on him now. TBD for moto two." – Honda HRC Progressive

Hunter is now four points clear of Jett in the 450MX championship standings. Consequently, a second place in moto two would clinch the title. Updates on Jett's status for moto two will be published in due course.
